Consultation

O'Leary Speech Therapy offers free consultations for children and young adults to see if they would benefit from speech and language therapy.

Contact Brooke today to schedule your free consultation! Consultations are typically held via phone for about 15 minutes.

Evaluation

If deemed appropriate, a comprehensive evaluation will be completed to assess strengths, preferences,  and challenges. Based on the results of the evaluation, the therapist will share whether or not therapy is recommended. If therapy is recommended, a treatment plan with goals will be developed.

Therapy

The length of the therapy session is determined based on a few different factors including age, therapy setting, and parent preference. Therapy sessions typically include time with the client and parent/teacher consultation to ensure carryover of learned skills.

If a social group is deemed appropriate to improve pragmatic language skills, this will be discussed following an observation or evaluation.

Generally, a standing appointment at the same time on the same day will be provided. Attendance is key in making a change!
