Sarabeth Parent
OTR/L
O'Leary Speech Therapy is now offering Occupational Therapy!
Sarabeth Parent is a licensed occupational therapist with a passion for helping children grow through meaningful, play-based experiences. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders from UMass Amherst in 2017 and began her career as a speech-language pathology assistant (SLPA), working in public schools for four years. It was during that time that she found herself naturally drawn to the work of occupational therapists, supporting students’ independence, functional skills, and confidence through hands-on, creative interventions. Motivated by this interest, Sarabeth pursued a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from Salem State University and graduated in 2023. Since then, she has had the opportunity to work with individuals across the lifespan in a variety of settings, including public schools, skilled nursing facilities, outpatient pediatrics, and inpatient psychiatric rehabilitation. Sarabeth currently works as a school-based OT in Everett Public Schools, supporting K–5 students with diverse needs in areas such as fine motor, visual-motor integration, executive functioning, sensory processing, and self-regulation. She is committed to bringing a strengths-based, relationship-centered approach to therapy, believing that connection and trust are the foundation for progress. She aims to make therapy fun and engaging, using play as a powerful tool to foster skill development and confidence.
Sarabeth lives in Malden with her husband, Dakota, and her dog, Alfie. Outside of work, you can find her running, trying new restaurants, or spending time with family and friends down the Cape.

Carmen Martin

She currently works at a specialized day school and adult services program, supporting children and adults with Autism diagnoses with fine motor coordination, visual motor integration, executive functioning, sensory processing, self-regulation, and various ADL and iADL skills. In addition, Carmen is a certified Voice Colors Yoga for Autism instructor, and has taught yoga classes to adults with Autism diagnoses at a supported living residence.
